Edward Zajac, 88, of Patterson Township, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born February 1, 1929 in Monaca, the son of the late Michael Edward and Antoinette (Fujara) Zajac. He was a member of the New Galilee VFW, Monaca American Legion, West Mayfield Vets, and the Veterans Honor Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores Ilene (Brashears) Zajac who he was united in marriage on June 8, 1974; son, Michael Zajac; two step-daughters, Andrea Lee-Marnicio, and Susan Lee; eight grandchildren, Dakota and Justin Lee, Patric, Shane, and Misty Evans, Michelle, Michael Jr., and Daniel Zajac; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Evans, and Madeline Mae Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Pamela Evans; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com, and Wednesday from 9 until time of service at 10 am, where the Veterans Honor Guard will provide full military Honors. Justin Lee will be officiating.
Entombment will follow at Williamsburg Chapel Mausoleum.
