Loretta D. Blazic Kelley, 85, of Koppel, died Friday January 1, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospice Heritage Valley Beaver following a brief illness.
Loretta was born November 15, 1930, in Koppel, PA. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Sophia Shablesky Blazic. Loretta was a graduate of Lincoln High School and Jameson Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as a registered nurse after 18 plus years of service from Ellwood City Hospital. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish, were she was an active member of the Christian Mothers and a member of the former St. Theresa Christian Mothers. She loved to visit and travel with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Vicki Kelley, Cranberry Twp.; Paula Kelley (Mark Rhodenbaugh), Garland, TX, and Kathy (Mike) Seminatore, Wexford; four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Kelley Schall, Michael and Marina Seminatore.
Family and friends will be received Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME, 3500 Third Ave., Koppel www.gabauermatterfuneralhome.com. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Holy Redeemer Church, 415 4th Street, Ellwood City, PA 16117. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church. Inurnment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given, in her memory, to the Good Samaritan Hospice Heritage Valley Beaver.
