Anita Melchiorre, 86, a lifelong resident of Monaca, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 27, 2018.
Born January 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Filomena (Vignali) Melchiorre. Anita was a devoted Catholic and lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler for many decades. She was also a retired bookkeeper with S.R. Snodgrass, PC firm. Her entire career was spent working for them.
Anita was preceded in death by her sisters, brothers and their spouses, Mary (Charles) Reina, Samuel (Julie) Melchiorre, Angeline (Paul) Fronko, Rose (Raymond) Hall, Joseph Melchiorre, and Frank (Sandy) Melchiorre.
She is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews whom she loved like they were her very own. She was the last survivor of her generation for the Melchiorre Family name and will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp.,, where prayers will be held on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, Monaca.
Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 1501 Virginia Ave., Monaca, PA 15061.

She has bee n my friend all my life. I remember her as a kid she was always nice to me when I visited my Dad at Snodgrass where she worked.
Later I worked for her as my first job she was always kind to be and was great influence on my life to the person I have become
