James Kennelly, 80, of Chippewa Twp. died Friday, November 30, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born October 13, 1938 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Conroy) Kennelly.  He retired as a Blast Furnace Supervisor from LTV Steel, formerly J&L Steel, after 42 years of service.  He loved fishing and spending time with his friends.  Jim loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was very proud of each and every one of them.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Harper) Kennelly; his children, Sharon (Tony) Buzzelli of Cranberry Twp., Jim (Liz) Kennelly of Bangkok, Thailand, and Mike (Nicole) Kennelly of Medina, OH; his grandchildren, Andrew, Brendan and Anthony Buzzelli, Ashleigh and Hayleigh Kennelly, and Michael, Carter, and Nicholas Kennelly; his brothers, Dan and Jack Kennelly; and his sister, Anna Tierney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Kennelly; his brother-in-law, Jim Tierney; and his grandson, Jon Canigiani.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 3pm-7pm in the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc.  117 Blackhawk Rd. Chippewa www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhome.com where prayers will be held on Monday at 9:30am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am at St. Monica’s- Chippewa.  Father Bill Schwartz will officiate.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
