Eileen Wagner Myers, 82, of Economy Borough, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver.
Born in Rochester, PA, July 7, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Wagner and Ruth Von Moos Wagner.
Eileen was a life member of Rehoboth Evangelical Lutheran Church. She graduated in 1952 from Ambridge High School and Business Training College, Pittsburgh in 1954. She worked for Dr. John H. Trumpeter in Beaver until 1958, when she gave birth to her twin daughters. She returned to work in the early 1970’s and worked for Dr. John Moraca, Sewickley and then for the Beaver Valley Urological Associates in Rochester and Beaver. She retired in 1983.
Surviving are her twin daughters, Janet Meyers (James) of Georgia, and Joyce Shulick of Economy Borough; granddaughter Jodi Shulick of Economy Borough; sister Edna Piersol Windes, of California; two nephews and their wives; three grandnephews, one grandniece, two aunts, numerous cousins and her beloved kitty, Shiva.
Eileen was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1962.
All arrangements are private and will be handled by Gabauer Matter Funeral Home, Ambridge. Interment will be beside her infant daughter, in Rehoboth Cemetery, Economy Borough. Her Pastor, Rev. Susan Irons, Rehoboth Evangelical Lutheran Church, Economy Borough, will conduct a private grave side service.
Eileen was a great supporter of the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Community.
