“May you rest in peace, as memories of you live on.” Rose Bovalino, 90, of Beaver Falls, passed away peacefully at Elmcroft Senior Living in Chippewa Twp., Pa., on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
Rose was born on September 7, 1927, to the late Louis and Rose Biro Farkas.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bovalino, in 2001; a brother, Louis Farkas, and sisters Margaret Nicgorski, Esther Barnes, Sylvia Zwierzynski and Wilma Custer.
Rose will be greatly missed by her children, Ken Dwornik (Adina), Frank Bovalino (Barb and children, Aaron, Maggie, Caroline, Ross), Paulette Jones (children, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Thomas, Paul), Marie Cochran (children, Jaime, Jared, Brett, Ryan) and 14 great-grandchildren. Rose is also survived by brothers, Paul Farkas, Steve Farkas (Norma) and Frank Farkas (Wilma), and sisters, Goldie Thomas and Sally Patton.
Rose was a life long resident of Beaver Falls, and retired from Mayer China after 32 years of service. She will be remembered by all for her quiet, loving and giving nature.
Friends will be received Tuesday, September 4, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, A private service will be conducted for family in the chapel at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beaver Falls by Gateway Hospice Chaplain Wayne Hobbes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rose’s name may be made to Gateway Hospice, 9380 McKnight Rd. #201, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
Rose’s family would like to extend a special thank you to both Elmcroft of Chippewa and Gateway Hospice for the compassionate care given to her.
