Esther M. Horinka, 85, of West Mayfield, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019, in Providence Care Center.
Born May 25, 1933, in Beaver Falls, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Marie (Kline) Mitchell. Esther was Presbyterian in faith. She loved to build jigsaw puzzles and crochet.
Surviving is her loving husband, Edward E. Horinka; brother, Dennis “Waynie” Mitchell; two sisters, Leona Sallade and Janice Boyer; two grandchildren, Kristi and Jacob Chudicek; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Chudicek, Ariana McCormick, and Donovan Rosas; and an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Rae Horinka Perez; two brothers, Lawrence and Danny Mitchell; grandchild, Jennifer Rosas; great-grandchild, IJ Rosas.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Providence Care Center and sister, Margie Calvert for their outstanding care and support over the last few years and neighbor, Kitty Cramer for always coming over to build jigsaw puzzles with Esther.
