Kathleen Dawn Gacesa, 66, of Brighton Twp., passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 in Heritage Valley-Beaver.

Born January 9, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Betty (Wallace) Gordon.  Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas Gacesa; her children, Matthew (Joy) Gacesa of Center Twp. and Lauren (David) Klacic of Hopewell Twp.; her grandchildren, Cameron and Addison Klacic and Adelynn and Emily Gacesa; her brother, Richard (Lori) Gordon of Daugherty Twp.; her sisters, Janice (Thomas) Leyda of Waynesburg, OH and Susan (Thomas) Preston of North Sewickley Twp.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Gabauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 1133 Penn Avenue New Brighton-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com where a service will be held on Friday at 11 am.  Pastor Susan Irons will officiate.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

The family requests that contributions be made in Kathleen’s name to the American Heart Association 444 Liberty Avenue #1300 Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

My condolences to the family and friends of Kathy. She was always a very nice person to sit for a spell with and I am so glad that I was her neighbor. She is at peace so let your hearts rest knowing she no longer has to suffer. May God bless you all and comfort you.
