Delores June McRoberts Erath Crognale

BEAVER FALLS, PA — Delores June McRoberts Erath Crognale passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on July 12, 2019.

June was born in Enon Valley, Pennsylvania to the late John William McRoberts and Grace Anna Reithmeier McRoberts Shafer on June 20, 1934.

She graduated from Darlington High School in 1952 and held positions at Montgomery Ward, Greif Brothers and D-M-E Company before earning her realtor’s license. She was a successful realtor for Prudential Preferred Realty in Chippewa before her retirement. June was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Arthur Shaffer, and her brother, Jack. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 14 years, Henry Crognale, daughters Michele (Clyde) Hoffmeister and Vicki (Atty. Mark) Latas, son John (Veronica) Erath, grandchildren Jack (Carrie) Erath, Matthew (Rachel) Latas, Ian Latas, Lindsay (Jon) Bernstein and great grandson, Clark Bernstein. She is also survived by two sisters, Betsy (Keith) Speerhas and Norma Lindner. Her extended family includes stepdaughters Melody (Bob) Carney, Dawn Shumaker, Shelley (Bobby) Kuehl and stepson Hank (Laura) Crognale, step grandchildren Stephanie (Brian) Bonomo, Robbie Melvin, Tyler, Travis and Brittany Crognale, Chloe and Maya Smelser, Vivian Kuehl, Josh Shumaker, Jen Christie, Grace and Ashton Walczak and step great granddaughter Sophia Bonomo.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and Tuesday from 10am until the time of services at 11am in the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home-117 Blackhawk Rd. Chippewa Twp.,  Pastor Dale Russo will officiate.

Interment will follow in Little Beaver Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Gail Moore, Vera Cindric, Maria Close, Phyllis Zaffaroni and the staff of Grane Hospice for the loving care that was provided to June over the past few months.

June was my first love in first grade and I have adored her ever since. What a beauty.

I knew Mrs. Crognale only by way of the stories told by "Huffy" and Michelle over time. She was often described as "Junebug" a thoughtful and kind woman, who was obviously loved and will be greatly missed by her family. Our condolences and prayers to the family.
