Joyce E. Campbell, 80, of Eastvale, Beaver Falls, Pa., died unexpectedly Thursday, January 5, 2017.
Born October 1, 1936, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Ray (Bucky) and Waunetta Flo Walters. Joyce retired from McGuire Memorial Homes after working in dietary for 23 years. Joyce was always proud to tell everyone, if it wasn’t for the Teamsters pension, she could have never retired. Joyce enjoyed many things, but I believe the consensus will tell you she enjoyed helping and just being with people, family, friends, and just talking to people she didn’t even know. I believe most of her conversations revolved around how proud she was of her family. Other things she enjoyed included, being a union steward, Mayor of Eastvale, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, going on weekly work outs with the Silver Sneakers, and going on weekly site seeing activities.
In addition to the above, she enjoyed her worship time by watching Pastor Joseph Prince every week.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Tootie Walters.
Surviving are four daughters and one son, Kimberlee Davis, Florida; Pamela Ward, Ellwood City; Tracy (Jim) Cover, Eastvale; Mindy Campbell, Randolph, Ohio, and Doug (Chris) Campbell, Beaver Falls; two brothers, Ray Walters, North Sewickley Twp., and Jay Walters, Beaver Falls; sister, Velma Lou (Ted) Neff, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a great-grandson on the way.
Friends will be received Monday from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 423 Penn Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066. Pastor Donald MacNeil will officiate.
Arrangements were handled by the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
She will be missed by many and the family would like to thank everyone for all their prayer and support. God Bless.
