Kevin L. Herrmann, 49, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of New Brighton, died on Monday, August 27, 2018, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was an employee of VT San Antonio Aerospace in San Antonio.

Born November 8, 1968 in New Brighton, he was the son of Peggy Herrmann, step-father Doug Jones and the late Kenneth E. Herrmann.

In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Diane) Herrmann and Mark (Karen) Herrmann; his sisters, Lisa (John) Muron and Tami Jones; his nieces and nephews, Kristi (Tony), Kelsey (George), Eric (Megan), Sam, Zack, Dominic, John Jr., Rachel (Eric Sr.), Baylor and Alex; six great-nieces and nephews, Morgan, Savanna, Emmett, Eric Jr., Brenton and Matthew; and many cousins and friends.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton,, where prayers will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church.  Father Tom Kredel will officiate.

Private interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in his name to help offset funeral expenses and may be sent to West-Aircomm FCU, P.O. Box 568, Beaver, PA  15009.

Kevin you will surely be missed. I have so many good memories and am glad you left this earth clean and sober. You had the tenacity to not let the disease of addiction hold you down. My prayers are with your family and as your friend I will miss you. Fly high
