Emma Jean O’Dell, 78, of Beaver Falls, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, in Providence Care Center surrounded by family.

Born September 7, 1939, the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (McClurg) Whitslar. Emma Jean was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School class of 1957 and the retired secretary of D&G Rent-All’s for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles C. O’Dell in 1999.
Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda (Ray) Miller, of Bridgewater; son, Kenneth A. (Suanne) O’Dell, of Greentree; sister, Mary Jane (Rick Noseda) Sekeres; four grandchildren, Eric (Greg) Miller, Timothy Miller, Rachel (Sean) Miller, and Ashley N. O’Dell; and three great-grandchildren, John, Brayden, and Joe.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

The family wishes to thank Providence Care Center Staff, Good Samaritan Hospice, and Dr. Stragand for all their wonderful care and help.
