Gregory Robert Knowlton, 56, of North Charleroi, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 22, 2019, at his residence.
Born May 30, 1962, in Rochester, he was the son of Ralph L. Knowlton Jr. and Marilyn (Shannon) Russell (Eugene See). Gregory was a combat engineer for United States Marine Corps. He liked martial arts and video games, and he loved to cook.  Gregory was a handyman; he could build or fix anything that you put in front of him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Kimberly C. (Jones) Knowlton; four sons, Shane R. (Rosemary) Mihalko, Christopher Stockett, Robert G. Knowlton, and Adam W. Knowlton; daughter, Lauren M. (Mike) Abbott; three brothers, Ralph L. (Bonnie) Knowlton III,  Shawn P. (Melissa) Russell and Jason (Cory) Knowlton; sister, Michelle L. Russell and James Pacella; several brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Don P. and Shawn E. Knowlton, and grandchild, Finn Mihalko.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton,, with Pastor Mark Ongley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
