David W. McDonald, 57, of Raccoon Twp., died unexpectedly Monday, January 28, 2019.

Born August 9, 1961, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Jay and Martha E. (Racinger) McDonald. David was Passionate about work as a supervisor at WD Wright. He loved his grandkids and going to the tractor show. As a cancer survivor David lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Bonnie D. (Fetchin) McDonald; stepchildren that he felt were his own, Jessica Hill,  Lucas (Kristin) Hill and Katie (Jason) Sproull; grandchildren, Maddie, Grace, Lilly, Morgan and Colton; brother, Jeff McDonald and sister, Jaynee McDonald.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com.

 

Interment will be private.

We've both known Dave for such a long time. It's so difficult to believe he's gone. We're almost expecting another text to go plow snow any moment now. He was a big guy with a big heart. He will be missed by so many Rob considered him as a father figure
