Donald ‘Moose’ Laurie Lambert II, 75, of Beaver, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
He was born in New Brighton, Pa., to the late Donald and Lillian (Forsythe) Lambert. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Dee Lambert.
He is survived by his children, Donald Laurie Lambert Ill of Cleveland, and Sarah Lynn Lambert of Philadelphia; brother, Dale (Laura) Lambert of somewhere in Florida; ex-wife and best friend, Deborah Lynn Lambert of Darlington.
Moose graduated from Beaver High School in 1961, after which he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served on a nuclear submarine. Following the Navy, Moose became a master inspector at Westinghouse (now Eaton) and worked there for way longer than they would have liked.
Moose loved to greet you on the phone by asking, “how’s your foot?” He always kept his home stocked full of books, car magazines, tools, and two cases of Old Milwaukee Light 16-ouncers. Moose’s favorite pastimes included canoeing, watching westerns, crossword puzzles, and reading the obituaries.
A memorial has not been planned yet. If you wish to attend, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Beaver County Humane Society.
