Anita was a tough cookie, but I wasn't fooled. She had a soft, squishy center!
In the last months at Beaver Meadows, she would come down sometimes and get her nails painted in a volunteer ministry I have with a couple of good friends of mine. I always got Anita, and once sat in the beauty salon and did her nails while she sat under the dryer.
I enjoyed her company and i was very sad to hear of her passing. I will certainly miss seeing her.
Prayers of comfort to all who loved her.
