Obituary

Alberta Marley Morrison

Alberta Marley Morrison 77, passed away on Thursday June 5, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver after a brief illness. Born July 25, 1936 in Pittsburgh PA.

She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Fieltsch Panner, and Albert Kuder Marley. Alberta attended Freedom High School and graduated from there in 1954. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Dona Wallace, Zelienople, and Jan Stillin of Michigan.

Surviving are 2 daughters: Debra Morrison, Beaver and Karen (Doug) LaFlair of Industry, 2 granddaughters: Laura Robb of Industry and Jamie Pratt of Ellwood City, many nieces & nephews that she loved as her own and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

One of her biggest joys came from sharing her faith in Bible Truths with others and comforting those who had lost loved ones in death, with the wonderful promises God provides in his Word the Bible. She worked for many years at the Freedom and Beaver Libraries, and then as a self-employed indexer for publishing companies. She had a passion for poetry–both writing and reading it. She cherished animals of all kinds, but had a special fondness for “Doggies.” Arrangements were handled by Todd Funeral Home, Beaver.

A Memorial Service were held on Sunday June 22, 2014 at 3:00 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6107 Tuscarawas Road, Industry PA 15052.

Donations can be made in her memory to Hancock County Animal Shelter, 715 Gas Valley Road, New Cumberland WV 26047
