Alfred L. Bish, Jr., 80, of Patterson Twp., died Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in Celebration Villa of Chippewa.

Born October 5, 1942 in Alliance, OH, he was the son of the late Alfred L. and Mary E. (Cain) Bish.  Raised by his grandparents, Lloyd and Hazel Bish in NuMine, PA, he was a graduate of Shannock Valley High School. Al then went on to obtain a BS in Education from IUP, a Master's Degree in Education from Westminster College, and a Master's Degree in School Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He retired after 35+ years of service as Director of Pupil Personnel Services at Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, PA and during this time was an active member of the Mental Health/ Development Services of Lawrence County. He was a past active member of the Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs as well as a member of St. Monica Roman Catholic Church of St. Augustine Parish.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, JoAnne (Michalski) Bish; his daughter, Tracy (Rick) Heiges; his son, Scott A. Bish; three grandchildren, Orion, Riley and Torin Heiges; and a brother, Edward (Kathy) Bish.

He was also lovingly cared for by Three Oaks Hospice and "our" Jen Cox who we are forever grateful for.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 17 ^th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.- www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com where prayers will also be held on Saturday March 18 ^th at 9:30am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am at St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church-St. Augustine Parish.  Father Kim Schreck will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Alfred's name to the St. Monica Catholic Academy Angel Fund- 609 10 ^th St., Beaver Falls PA 15010.
