Obituary

Amelia Carothers (Pam), 67, of Midland went to be with her Lord on December 12, 2016 with her family by her side.Born February 26, 1916 in Butler, she was the daughter of the later William, and Mary Russo.She worked at Heritage Valley Beaver for 15 years in the housekeeping dept. She was a devoted Christian, strong in her faith as well as a loving grandmother, mother, sister, and aunt.Surviving are her sons; Matthew Carothers (Dawn Ward) and Michael Carothers of Midland; two loving grandchild that she cherished, Darien Carothers, New Brighton, and Hannah Carothers, Midland; her brother William Russo; close friend Kaylin Allen; and many nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by her brother Larry Russo and sister, Frances McCloskey.She left us all with many wonderful memories and will be sorely missed.All services were private and were handled by the Gabauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 1133 Penn Avenue, New Brighton www.gabauerfuneralhome.com.
