Ann B. DeHass

Formerly of Beaver

 

Ann B. DeHass, 91, of formerly of Beaver, passed away Sunday September 16 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township. She was born August 18, 1927 in Erie, PA and was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace Hoffmann Avery. Ann was a member of the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Beaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank E. DeHass, Jr., in 2002 and a number of brothers and sisters. Surviving her are her children, William E. (Charmaine) DeHass, Roebuck, SC, David A. DeHass and John Lacy, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Linda (John) Hohla, Center Township and Kathy A. (Larry) Wilhelm, Center Township, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a sister Virginia Dillon, Vanport. There will be no public viewing or service but a private family service will be conducted by her pastor Reverend Freda Snyder. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery. The Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver has been entrusted with the arrangements. The family wishes to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care given Ann.

    i was SHOCKED to see Ann’s name in the obituaries today!i have been volunteering at Beaver Meadows. i know Ann always came to bingo and would come to other activities. she was a joy to be around and always made me smile with her fire!!you will be missed, Ann!
