Obituary

Ann Rossa, 92, a resident of Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and former long-time resident of Darlington, fell asleep in our Lord in the early evening hours of Friday, May 12, 2017, after a long illness. Ms. Rossa was also a devoted member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 205 E. Reynolds Street, New Castle, PA 16101.Ms. Rossa was preceded in death by her beloved long-term companion, Albert Carcaise; her sister, Sue Augustine (Tita); and three brothers, John, Nicholas, and Michael Tita.She is survived by her brother, George Tita; and numerous nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME, 3500 Third Ave., Koppel, gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. Father Richard Salley will officiate.Interment will be private.
