Arthur E. Norton, 86, of Aliquippa, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice – Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born on June 25, 1936, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Henry and Betty (Britton) Norton.

Art was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during Desert Shield and Desert Storm.  Following his discharge, Art was a truck driver for many years and a member of the Bridgewater Fire Department.

Art is survived by his wife, Opal (Young) Norton; his children, Jason (Heather Juth) Frederick, Mark Frederick, Robin (Jack) Norris, Arthur Norton, Jr., Jeff Norton, Vince Norton, and Mike Norton; his sister, Betty Norton; grandchildren, Melissa, and Skylar Juth, Jack Norris, Jr.; numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and his two K-9 companions, Daphne and Sammy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Norton; a daughter, Margaret Norton; and a brother, Henry Norton.

Art's wishes for cremation will be honored and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 2 pm at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies 1158 Morgan Rd., Bridgeville, PA 15017.
