Obituary

Arvine “Beanie” Harris Jr., 84, of Beaver Falls, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2021 in Heritage Valley-Beaver.

Born May 17, 1936 in Fairfax County, Virginia he was the son of the late Ruth Zennie and Arvine “Tee” Harris.  A graduate of Beaver Falls Class of 1955, he was also a soldier in the United States Army. He worked for Medusa Cement, retiring after 28 years.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Dixie Harris, whom he loved very much; four children, Renee Cook-Smith, South Carolina, Leroy Harris, Michigan, Aeric Harris, Florida, and Connie Harris, Pennsylvania; his step-children, Brenda Gibbon, John DeLuca, Corey DeLuca, all of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Alonzo, Michael, Terrann, Amber, Mariah, Andrew, A.J., Kierra, Antonio, Azavier, Myles, Xavier, Christie, Mandi, Anthony, Alaina, Riley, Gia, and Timmy; And 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Emanuel and Barnard Harris.

Beanie was an avid Steeler fan. He always loved a good joke and his family. He truly will be missed by many. There will be no services held as per his wishes.
