Obituary

Audrey N. Ballintine, 87, of Ambridge, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born on May 24, 1935, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Christina Nye.

Audrey had retired as the Chief Financial Officer of Innovative Systems.  She enjoyed time spent with her family, playing games, and basking in the sun around the pool.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Ballintine; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Nickum.

Audrey is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Eric Jacobsen) Ballintine and Kelly Ballintine; a sister, Jacqueline Nickum; her beloved dog, Jack; and many friends.

In accordance with her wishes, Audrey will be cremated and no services are being planned.

Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in Audrey’s name may be made to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, or an animal rescue of one’s choice.

The GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Township, was honored to provide care and guidance to Audrey’s family.

    I am so sad to hear of not only my best friend Kelly’s mamma passing, but also as my second momma. I love you Aud! May you be with Bob in heaven and at total peace…❤ Please watch down and guide your two beautiful daughters, and if you have time, watch over me as well. Godspeed…..❤ You will never be forgotten.
