Augustine “Gussie” Facciolo, 90, of Raleigh, North Carolina, formerly of Chippewa Twp., died Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Transitions Life Care.Born July 19, 1925, in Sewickley Heights, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sarah (Pusateri) Fote. She was a 1943 graduate of Sewickley High School. A talented soprano, baker of countless wedding cakes, seamstress, gardener, bowler, and volunteer, she found joy helping others. She was a devoted member of Saint Mary’s in Glenfield, St. Monica ƒ?? Chippewa, and Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Facciolo; a sister, Kathy Varela, and a brother Dominic Fote.She is survived by a son, Ted Facciolo, Lisbon, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Kevin Brice, Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Girouard, Millersburg, OH, and Jacqueline, Harper and Patrick Brice, all of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Nancy Scarchilli, Miami, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp.,www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com, where prayers will be offered Friday at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Monica Church, Chippewa Twp. Father Kim Schreck will officiate.Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chippewa Twp.
