Betty Hamilton, 95, of Beaver, passed away Wednesday March 11 in her home after an extended illness. She was born January 9, 1920 in Brighton Township and was the daughter of the late Estes J. and Elizabeth Ann Parks Todd.

Betty had been a resident of the Beaver area all her life, had worked for 12 years in the Pittsburgh offices of the former Mueller and Harper and was a lifetime member of the Beaver United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John E. ‘Jack’ Kennedy and William W. Hamilton, Jr., her siblings and spouses, Dorothy T. and Herbert Richards, John Parks Todd, George W. and Dorothy P. Todd.

Surviving are her sons, Jeffrey W. Hamilton and Thomas T. Hamilton, (and Linda Knox), a sister-in-law Isabelle Todd, FL many nieces and nephews, including 2 special nieces, Barbara (John) Wnek and Marian (Bob) Kaiser and numerous cousins.

Friends will be received Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and a Memorial Service will be celebrated Monday at 11 AM in the Beaver United Methodist Church by her pastor Reverend Emmett Anderson. The family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Beaver United Methodist Church, College Avenue, Beaver or the Beaver Area Memorial Library, College Avenue, Beaver.
