Obituary

Betty M. (Hauger) Boswell, 89, of Daugherty Twp., passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Providence Care Center in Beaver Falls following a brief Illness.

Born July 30, 1931, in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Odie (Schmidt) Hauger. Betty was a member of the Westminster UP Church in New Brighton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, James R. Boswell Sr. and a brother, Bob Hauger.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Bill) Buchko; son, Bob (Mitzi Arnold) Boswell; five grandchildren, Patrick Buchko, Bob Buchko, Molly (Jon) Denslinger, Christopher Boswell and Alysa (Garrick) Holtgrewe; seven great-grandchildren, Connor and Gavin Buchko, Krista and Chelsea Denslinger, Gage, Gunner and Chloe Holtgrewe; sister Erma Zihmer; brother Harry (Betty) Hauger and several nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to Betty. After family, she loved her Pittsburgh Steelers. She will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8pm and Friday 10am until the time of services at 11am in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME- 1133 Penn Avenue New Brighton-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com.  Pastor Bob Saul will officiate.

Interment will take place in Beaver Cemetery.
