Branka Stanisic, 92, Beaver passed away Monday February 23 in Heritage Valley Beaver. She was born August 29, 1922 in Tetovo, Macedonia and was the daughter of the late Cedomir and Mileva Velickovic.

She had lived in Beaver County since 1956. She had been an Administrator at the Belgrade School of Music, then worked for Simpson-Sears in Canada and later was a bookkeeper for the former Wilson Furniture in Aliquippa. Branka was a member of the Eastern Star in Rochester, an avid gardener, a skilled knitter and a voracious reader, particularly spy novels. During WWII she was a Red Cross worker in Belgrade.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Predrag in 1989. Surviving are her son Cheda Ched Stanisic, Beaver and a couple of cousins.

There will be no local public visitation or services. Interment will be in York Cemetery, Ontario, Canada. The Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver is handling the local arrangements.
