Bruce Caccia, 72, died of lung cancer, alone-much like he lived.

He was a man of few redeeming qualities, most of which were only visible to his mother- his sole lifelong fan.  Devoted son? Sure. Everything else?  Let's just say… expectations were low, and he still managed to underdeliver.

An absentee father by choice and a grandfather only in title, Bruce was known for his sharp tongue and consistent absence.

He did, however, excel at running Caccia Roofing- he knew roofs like the back of his hand.  People? Not so much.

He is survived by his daughter, Tricia (Mike) Jurich; grandson, Josh Caccia; and great-granddaughter, Avery Moldovan.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, William Caccia and Clarabelle (Dietrich) Caccia; and his longtime girlfriend, Sue Koah, who stuck around longer than most people would have.

There will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, just be kind to someone- Bruce usually wasn't.
