Obituary

Carl D. Riser, 61, of Patterson Twp., died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born May 20, 1955, in Beaver Falls, the son of the late Carl and Ruth (Spohn) Riser. He was a member of the Beaver Falls Turners. Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Jo Ann (Morelli) Riser; two daughters, Roxann Riser, and her fianc??, Christopher, and Carla (Sean) Fitzgerald; sister, Barb (Tom) Marshall; five grandchildren, Jordyn, Levi, Blaze, Natalya, and a grandson on the way, Jayceon; mother-in-law, Rose Operhall; sister-in-law, Teresa Morelli; six nephews; three great-nieces; one great-nephew, and his best friend, his dog, Ziggy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Shaffer, and granddaughter, Brianna. Friends will be received Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. Bonnie Conley will officiate. Interment will be private. Contributions, if so desired, may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
