Obituary

Carol Ann “Nan” (Welsh) Fabyanic, 80, of Daugherty Twp., died Monday, April 3, 2023 in her residence.

Born February 14, 1943 in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late Leroy “Ham” Welsh and Charlotte (Brenner) Weigle.  A member of the Our Lady of the Valley Parish in New Brighton, Carol was very active in the community.  She was a member of the Daugherty Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, she was the Judge of Elections for Daugherty Township for many years, and was on the Organizational Board for the New Brighton Class of 1961.  Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. She enjoyed watching them participate in all of their activities and sporting events. One of Carol’s favorite activities was her casino trips with her husband, Ivan and family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ivan Fabyanic, Jr.; her children, Tammi (Bill) Nemeth, Tom (Tammy) Fabyanic, and Traci Fabyanic; 8 grandchildren, Andrew (Jesse) Nemeth, Matthew (Jennifer) Nemeth, Samantha, Cody and Carson Fabyanic, and Sydney, Alexis and Kameron Croxton; 10 great-grandchildren, Will, Georgia, Penny, Mabel, Frankie, Arlo, Wynton, Findlay, Kai and Kayde; her brother, Robert (Karen) Welsh; her sister, Betty (Bob) Inman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Carol’s wishes, there will be no viewing or services.

Arrangements were handled by Gabauer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc- 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton PA 15066.
