Carolina Ida Keister, 101, of West Mayfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Celebration Villa- Chippewa Twp.

Born on April 11, 1922, in East Liverpool, OH, she was the daughter of the late Dravo Hertzler and Mae (Reynolds) Psik. Carolina enjoyed golfing, traveling and most of all she loved spending time with her family. They were her pride & joy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Hersel Keister; a son, Carl George; a grandson, Carl James; two sisters, Olive Mae and Alberta; and a son-in-law, Joseph Malack.

She is survived by her children, Loretta Malack, Robert (Sereta) Keister, Harold (Linda Ierace) Keister and Dale (Bob Salvadori) Keister; grandchildren, Joyce (Robert) Strickler, Richard (Janet) Malack, Dana (Ben) Hanna, Tara (Mickey) Pranskey, Christian (Kailin Clawson) Keister, Michael (Loree) Keister, John Keister and Bill Keister; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family extends a special thank you to Gateway Hospice.

In accordance with Carolina's wishes, she will be cremated and no services will be held.
