Obituary

Carolyn Ohler, 76, of New Brighton, died Thursday, August 6, 2020 in Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.

Born May 21, 1944, in Clarksburg, W.V., she was the daughter of the late Betty (Smallwood) Teirney. She was a loving mother and grandmother. An avid animal lover, she loved working in her gardens. She belonged to the New Brighton Volunteer Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary. Carolyn loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Davis; and her children, Carol Barger (Vern Allison), Lisa (Ron) Montgomery, James Jr. (Rachelle) Ohler and Lois (Bill) Blonski; her grandchildren, Ronnie (Hope) Montgomery, Alan Montgomery, Tessa Ohler, Demi Ohler, Daniel Powell, Toni (Devyn) Smith, Brittany (Chris) Vojtas, Jasmine Glenn and Jewel Glenn; and her great-grandchildren, Shane Troy, Elizabeth Powell, Isabella Powell, Christopher Byers, Peyton Smith and Nylah Vojtas.

Friends will be received on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Gabauer Funeral Home-1133 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. Due to Covid-19 and in accordance with CDC guidelines, masks MUST be worn at the visitation, and maximum capacity at the funeral home at all times is 25.  Social distancing will be enforced.

  2. Mom,Jeannie,and me where down in the garden. It started to pour down the rain and I don’t remember who started IT, But all of a sudden were having a mud fight and laughing really hard. I love you so much and I will miss you mom.
