Charlene M. Broomfield, 52. Of Beaver Falls, passed away Sunday November 3 in her home following a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 27, 1961 in Rochester and was the daughter of Mary Probst and the late Charles ‘Duck’ Probst.
Charlene had been a carrier for the Beaver County Times and also worked at Cambridge Village. She was a 1980 graduate of Freedom High School and also a graduate of the Pittsburgh Culinary Arts School. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Brett Broomfield, a sister, Robin Bonzo, a brother, Jimmy Ray Probst, and a brother-in-law, Charles Misner, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William H. Broomfield and Donna M. Stear.
Surviving are her mother, a son, Brandon Broomfield, Beaver Falls, a daughter, Tausha Broomfield, New Brighton, her former husband and best friend, William H. Broomfield, a brother Chick (Brenda) Probst, Eastvale, 2 sisters, Colleen Misner, and Debbie Probst, both of Beaver Falls, a sister-in-law Donna Holt, Beaver Falls, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Todd Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
