Charles C. "Chuck" Brooks Jr., 86, of Lisbon, Ohio, died on Friday, November 27, 2023.
Born on April 10, 1937, in Beaver, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Mary (Jonas) Brooks.
Charles had worked as a Caster for St. Joseph Zinc Company for many years. He was Christian by faith and had a deep love for Jesus. Chuck had a passion for music, was a member of the NRA, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley, in 1976; and his second wife, June, in 2017; a brother, John Brooks; two sisters, Dolores Boyer and Patricia Fitzgerald; a son-in-law, Christopher Mitchell; a step-son-in-law, Jim Burke; and two brothers-in-law, Armond "Gus" LeFebvre and Andy Nuzzo.
He is survived by his children, Mary "Debbie" Mitchell, Nancy (Dan) Koehler, Charles "Chuck" (Sharon) Brooks, Robert "Bob" (Lisa) Brooks, and a step-daughter, Debbie Lynn Burke; two sisters, Mary "Peg" Nuzzo and Lavina LeFebvre; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1-4PM at the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (Branch), 340 Third Street, Beaver.
In accordance with his wishes, Chuck will be cremated following services.
Inurnment will be in Beaver Cemetery & Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
