Charles "Chuck" Verner, 83, of Chippewa Township, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

Chuck was born in Beaver Falls on June 10, 1941, to the late Dominic and Helen (Young) Verner.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 59 years, Joan (Vasas) Verner.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Sharlynn Verner, and two sons, Brian (Andrea) Verner and Jeffrey (Charmaine) Verner.  His grandson, Benaiah Michael Verner, was a blessing during his grandfather's lengthy illness.

Chuck was a proud member of the United States Army and retired from Babcock & Wilcox as a lab technician.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Chuck's special friend, Kenny, whose support and kindness are invaluable throughout Chuck's illness.

In accordance with his wishes, funeral services were private.  Chuck's interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

All arrangements have been entrusted to the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., which had the honor of caring for Chuck and his family.
