Cheryl Florence Sattler, age 75, of Brighton Township, peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at PAM Health – AHN Beaver.

Born on October 5, 1950, in Winthrop, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late Allen and Florence (Cartwright) Smith.

Cheryl dedicated her life to her family, embracing the role of homemaker with love and devotion. She and her husband, Richard, were active members of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Aiken, South Carolina, where they cherished their faith and community. Cheryl's greatest joy was her family — she adored her children and grandchildren and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, always bringing warmth and laughter wherever she went.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Richard "Rich" Sattler; her children, Colleen Schmidt, Jennifer (Tom) Kehs, and Bart (Lisa) Sattler; her treasured grandchildren, Cassandra, Danielle, Abbigail, Sydney, Grant, Elsa, Garrett, Foster, and Owen; and her expected great-grandchild, Theo. Cheryl is also survived by her brother, Terry Smith; her sisters, Edythe "Edee" (Francois) Febvay and Patrice McDonough; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.

Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, August 28th, from 11:00 a.m. until her funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m., at GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 340 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009.

Following the service, Cheryl will be laid to rest in Beaver Cemetery.
