Obituary

Christina May (Ramey) Hanstine, 90, of Conway Borough, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Elmcroft of Chippewa.  Born on May 31, 1930, in Shelby, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Rolland and Eula Pearl (Armstrong) Ramey.

Christina spent many years as a Financial Aide Advisor for Allegheny  College in Meadville, Pa and before Allegheny College, she worked at Talon.  She was a member of Ladies’ order of Eastern Star, Grottoetts as well as the Red Hat Society and many others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Hanstine, in 2015; two sons, Gerald and Rick Potts; two brothers, Robert and Donald Ramey; and a sister, Janice Stamper.

Christina is survived by her loving children; Tion (Gary) Piehler; Karen (Kevin)Heron; Thomas Hanstine; Kimberly (Gerry) Martin: 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren;nieces, nephews, and friends.

Christina’s wishes for cremation will be honored and no services are being planned at this time.

Private inurnment will be in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
