Obituary
Christopher P. “Chris” Miller, 46, of New Castle, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Born on December 26, 1975, he was the son of Rose (Dinello) Boak and Gary and Mel Miller. He grew up in North Sewickley Twp. and graduated from Riverside High School, Class of “94. Chris found his lifework as a carpenter and independent contractor remodeling kitchens, house painting, and custom deck designs. Each and every job had to be done to perfection or it wasn’t done. He was precise and meticulous in his work; a true craftsman.
In addition to his parents and grandmother, Nancy Miller, Chris is survived by his sister, Kim (Josh) Bissell; half-sister, Samantha (Zach) Miller-Hague; a half-brother, Sean Miller; step-brothers, Jimmy and Joe Boak, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, special nieces and nephews, a great-nephew, and his most devoted K-9 companion, Tara. He loved his family and would do what he could to spoil his nieces and nephews anytime they were together.
When Chris was in his early teens, he was asked to be a helper on a house remodeling job. This gave him the taste for carpentry and home remodeling work. Many years later Chris participated in a two week missions trip to Honduras to build a church. Using his carpentry skills brought him great joy. God used that experience to plant a seed in his heart for desired renewal of living for Christ. Another seed planted in his heart, was a vision of what his life could be used for. A life purpose of using his skills to help others. Unfortunately, as time went on his life’s journey took its twists and turns, and his medical and personal concerns impacted his life, his ability to work diminished.
As of late our loving Heavenly Father was working in his heart reminding Chris of his purpose in life and drawing Chris to Him. Wanting to help others was always in Chris’s heart.
Though he left us unexpectedly, we know that he is forever at peace and pain-free in the loving care of Our Heavenly Father. We love and miss him.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday January 22 at 10 AM with a service at 11AM at Christian Assembly, 814 Lincoln Place, Beaver Falls officiated by Pastor Dale Russo.
