Daniel A. Daellenbach, Sr.

Daniel A. Daellenbach, Sr. Ohioville Daniel A. Daellenbach, Sr., 82, of Ohioville, died Friday, January 19, 2018, in the Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center, Brighton Twp. He was the son of the late Herschel and Fredda Knopp Daellenbach, born on April 19, 1935, in Beaver. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sally L. Stevens Daellenbach, in July 2000; sisters and brother, Emma Weaver, Betty Bodie and Edward H. Daellenbach. Dan, an Air Force Veteran, retired from Westinghouse Electric as a group leader – Navy Breakers and later enjoyed working at the Full Service Sunoco Station in Beaver. He was the beloved Santa Clause for many years at the Beaver Valley Mall and the Festival of Trees among other places. He was the last living charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Monaca. He is survived by his sons, Daniel A. (Sheila) Daellenbach, Jr., Georgetown; Paul H. (Deanna) Daellenbach, Stoughton, Wisc.; David N. (Janet) Daellenbach, Gansevoort, N.Y.; daughter-in-law, Debbie (Tim) Brewer, Koppel; grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Danae, Seth, Rachel, Nathan, Ruby, Rebecca and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Dane, Sabrina and Christifor, Brian and Tessa; sister-in-law, Paula (Jim) Skoczylas, Chewton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St., Beaver. His nephew, Rev. Mark Ours of the First Baptist Church, New Brighton, will officiate.
