Obituary

Dan O. Knotts, 66, of Darlington Twp., passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in his residence after a courageous battle with Cancer.

Born July 5, 1957 in Aliquippa, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Woods) Knotts. He was proceeded in death by a granddaughter, Alexis LaFlair. Dan worked at DBS Steel for 41 years and then retired from Keystone Manufacturing in July of this year.  He was an avid fisherman and he loved to ride his motorcycle.

He was a longtime member for Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls where he portrayed Jesus in Holy Week Drama’s and served the Lord where needed in the church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Georgina (Chop) Knotts; his son, Jacob G. Knotts; his daughter, Danielle LaFlair; four grandchildren, Brennden, Shayna, Camden and Nevaeh; two sisters, Debra Pifer and Lenora (Greg) Eaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 1pm-5pm and Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home.  Pastor Paul Cwynar will officiate.

Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
