Daniel Rocco DeMarco
Hopewell Township

Daniel Rocco DeMarco, age 65, of Hopewell Township, died on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Cranberry Place Nursing Home in Cranberry Township.  
He was a lifelong historian, Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and avid reader.  He was born in Rochester, Pa., to Louis and Lucille DeMarco (nee Shaffalo) and was the youngest of three children.  He was a graduate of Hopewell High School, achieved a degree in Electronics Technology from Penn Technical Institute and was a retired LTV steel worker. 
Left to honor and remember his love are two sisters, Sharri (Joseph) Spratley and Marie Barkovic; five nieces and nephews, Joseph (Tamara) Spratley Jr., April Spratley, Laura Spratley, Natalie Spratley, and Michael (Kristy) Spratley; and many great-nieces and nephews, Abby, Gigi, and Phillip Singh, Jade Spratley, Jasmine and Travis Cunning Jr., James Chop Jr., and Lucy Spratley. 
By the request of Mr. DeMarco himself, there will be no viewing or services.  
The family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Cranberry Place Nursing Home in Cranberry Township, specifically those in the East Wing for their attentiveness and loving care.
