Daniel O. Tuffs, 66, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Friday, December 30, 2022, following a two-year battle with cancer.

Born on November 21, 1956, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Paul and Alice (Renn) Tuffs.

Dan was a line cook at Shakespeare's Restaurant & Pub.  He was a very proud veteran of the United States Army, having served as an Airborne Ranger.  He was a past member of the Oak Hill Vets Club for over 30 years.

He is survived by the love of his life, his girlfriend, Mary Beth Burnsworth; a son, Rowan Tuffs; an aunt, several cousins, and many friends.

In accordance with Dan's wishes, he will be cremated and no services are being planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dan's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Wounded Warrior's Foundation.
