Donald M. ‘Sam’ Sebecic
Fallston

Donald M. ‘Sam’ Sebecic, 80, of Fallston, passed away peacefully in his home Wednesday January 14 following an extended illness surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 24, 1934 in Fallston and was the son of the late Marko and Barbara Trumbetic Sebecic.

Sam had been a lifelong resident of Fallston, was retired from Darlington Brick, was Catholic by faith and loved his various dogs through the years.

Surviving him are his wife of 54 years, Sally M. Sebecic, sons, Donald M. (Laura) Sebecic, Jr. of Patterson Township, Michael (Mary) Sebecic, Rochester, Kevin Sebecic, New Brighton, a daughter, Tina Pronesti, Ellwood City, 7 grandchildren, Alyssa, Jason, Aubrey, Kayla, Taylor, Michael and Ryan, great-grandchildren, Lily and Ayla, and 2 special friends from dialysis, Jim and Butch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Hage and a favorite aunt, Annie Trumbetic.

At Sam’s request, there will be no public viewing or formal service, but there will be a memorial gathering at the Fallston Fire Department January 31 from 2 to 4 PM. The family wishes to thank Liberty Dialysis in Chippewa, Vitas Hospice caregivers and Reverend Keith R. Black for the care and consideration given Sam. The Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver has been entrusted to handle the arrangements.
