Obituary
Donald W. Measel, 90, of Chippewa Twp., passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on September 5, 1930, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Harvey E. and Mabel C. (Flinner) Measel.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 67 years, Phyllis Ann (Seemann) Measel; his son, Ernest (Susan) Measel; his two daughters, Cynthia (Brian) Pearl and Suzanne (Mike) Greco; grandchildren, Matthew Zelinsky, Jason (Shannon) Greco, Marc Zelinsky, Michelle Measel, Michael Zelinsky, Katie (Geoff) Cole, Ryan (Emily) Measel, Zachary (Megan) Zelinsky, Benjamin Greco, and Tyler Measel; and 5 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Sienna, Adam, and Abigail.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of service at 2PM, at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com.
Private Interment will be in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.

Old ‘Peaches’ was my 1st golf buddy and a guy I could always count on to talk some Pirates baseball. I couldn’t have asked for a better grandfather, and I’ll be forever grateful for the 36 years we spent together.
