Obituary

Donna L. Reisinger, 81, of Rochester Township, formerly of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.

Born October 16, 1942, in Beaver Falls, Pa, she was the daughter of the late William and Vernetta (Carlton) Bable.  Donna was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School.  She worked as a school van driver for children with special needs for McCarter Transit for over twenty years.  She enjoyed reading, game shows, and spending time with her family.  Donna was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in New Brighton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James W. Reisinger; her son, James W. Reisinger II; a brother, Robert Bable; and two sisters, Cathrine Dodson and Ella Mae Throckmorton.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Thomas) Weber; a grandson, Kristopher Reisinger; a niece, Sandy (Claude) Neidlinger; and her sister of the heart, her cousin Shirley Friend.

Friends will be received on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton, 15066 with an additional viewing Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton, 15066 with Pastor Randy Owens officiating.

A private interment will take place at Grandview cemetery, Beaver Falls, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to a charity of your choice in Donna’s name.
