Dora May Morgan
Beaver
Dora May Morgan, 91, of Beaver, passed away peacefully December 1, 2016 in
Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born June 23, 1925 in Fairmont, WV, she is the daughter of the late Delbert
Jenkins and Blanche Phelps Jenkins. She was a Veteran of World War II with
the USMC stationed at the US Pentagon, Washington. Dora was a member also
of the USMC Reserves, and a founding member of the Beaver County Marines, a
life member of USMC Association, and the #379 Bomb Group WWII Association.
She was formerly employed with the Rochester Hospital in Medical Records,
the law offices of Tocci, Yurich, McMillen, Palmeri & Duplaga, and the
doctor¹s offices of Coghlan, Cuddy & Pupi for most of her career.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank
James Morgan, Sept. 27, 1999, and an adopted son James Trowbridge.
She is survived by four sons and a daughter; James Frank Morgan and wife
Linda of El Segundo, CA, Raymond Curtis Morgan, Vanport, Beverly Ann Matoic
and husband Steve with whom Dora May resided, Richard Ellsworth Morgan and
wife Judith Lonnett Morgan Brighton Twp., and Daniel Scott Morgan, Brighton
Twp.; seven grandchildren, Carly (Jason) Hicks, Long Beach, CA, Kaitlin
Morgan, Long Beach, CA, Samantha Morgan, El Segundo, CA, Haley (John)
MacBride, Vanport, Ross Morgan, Moon Twp., Amanda (Benjamin) Delai, Beaver,
and Jacob Matoic, Beaver; and three great grandchildren, Leialyn Fae Hicks,
Natya Jade MacBride, John Ross MacBride, and baby Delai due January 9, 2017,
and a large extended famiy.
Friends will be received, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in
the Todd Funeral Home, Inc., 340 Third Street, Beaver, where a funeral
service will be conducted Thursday at 11 AM with an Elder of the Jehovah¹s
Witnessess Monaca Congregation officiating. Interment will follow in the
Beaver Cemetery with the Beaver County Special Unit and USMC providing full
military honors.
