Obituary

Dorothy E. Rawl, 79, of Rochester, formerly of Bridgewater and Midland, passed away Thursday January 24 in Kindred Care, Brighton Township.

She was born December 8, 1933 in Rochester and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Albert and Edna Coleman Tallon. Dorothy had provided private Home Health Care and was in Circle of Friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Willis Rawl, Sr., a daughter Deborah Louise Tallon Alexander and 2 brothers, Lawrence and Harry Tallon.

Dorothy is survived by 3 sons, Anthony (Betty) Tallon, Duquesne, Charles Gomez, Midland, Lawrence (Virginia) Gomez, Mass., a step-son, Willis Rawl, Jr., Pittsburgh, 8 grandchildren, Alexis Alexander, Kimberly Tallon, Charles Gomez, Jr., Temica Gomez, Brandy Cummings, Jenna Gomez, Thomas Gomez and Johniah Gomez, a number of great-grandchildren and an uncle, Richard Coleman.

A memorial service to celebrate Dorothy’s life was held Monday at 11 AM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver with Reverend Andrew A. Monteiro officiating.
