Obituary

Dorothy E. Weyant, 90, of Brighton Township, passed away Sunday April 7 in Covington Skilled Nursing in East Palestine, OH.

She was born October 22, 1922 in Butler and was the daughter of the late Ollie and Evelyn Pohl Smith. Dorothy had been a resident of Brighton Township since 1955, had been a stenographer for the Agriculture Department in Washington D.C., was a member of the St. Blaise Parish and had enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Bernard L Sr. in 2001, a grandson, Christopher Weyant in 1980 and a sister, Jeanne Baumgarter.

Surviving are 4 sons, Bernard L. (Sandy) Weyant Jr., Richmond, VA, Terry (Diane) Weyant, Sylvia, SC, Norman (Holly) Weyant, Maxmeadow, VA and Bruce(Denise) Weyant, Industry, 5 daughters, Lynda (Bill) Lilly, Beaver, Janis (Mike) Marinkovich, Hopewell, Pam Kinkead, East Palestine, OH, Barbara (Randy) Sambol, Houston, TX, Tricia (Jeff) Mercy, Ellicott City, MD, numerous grand and great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Fred Smith, Richmond, VA, Norman (Molly) Smith, Baytown, TX and Don (Peg) Smith, Corning, NY.

Visitation and a Blessing Service were held in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and burial took place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry.
