Dorothy Mae Podbielski, 94, of Big Beaver Boro, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in the comfort of her home.

Born on August 26, 1928, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Cline) Snowden.

Dorothy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid card player and attended card parties with her sisters. friends and neighbors. She also loved to knit, crochet, bowl and build puzzles. She enjoyed reading, flowers and baking, primarily desserts. Her greatest passion was her love of mother nature, especially birds. She had fed them since moving to the borough in 1956.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Vincent B. Podbielski; her sons, Michael (Virginia) Podbielski and Mark Podbielski; her daughter, Michele Podbielski; her granddaughter, Lydia Mae Podbielski and her sister, JoAnne Tooch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John "Sonny" Snowden and a sister, Jean Radcliff.
